Congratulations to Scotland Under 15 Vice Captain and one of the biggest characters at Myreside, Chris Cash, who helped Scotland retain the European Under 15 Championships this weekend.

The Wildcats completed their fixtures for the season on Monday evening with a disappointing loss to Carlton in a game dominated by good bowling by both teams.
When a game is concluded in the 29th over of play at 3.10pm there can be very little to fill a match report with, however, there were a few glowing highlights to speak of.

An undefeated Saturday saw victories for the 1st and 3rd XI’s over Greenock and Stirling 3s whilst the 2nd XI’s match at Fauldhouse fell victim to the weather when the fixture was abandoned just short of being a game.
Over the past seven days two of the ‘Sonians squad, Paddy Sadler and Pete ‘Pistols’ Legget, have been in action for Scotland at the ICC European Under 19 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in Belfast.

An 8 wicket victory against the National Academy on Sunday took Watsonians to the summit of the SNCL tied with Grange on points and percentage, separated only by the narrowest of run rates.
